Rotary is evolving. In the months leading up to summer 2021 it is unclear what we can do to provide services to our community, which includes the valued human connection that was enjoyed by Rotary previous members. The motto "hands-in-space" is certainly a component of our daily routine but it's clear that the confidence of our members is increasing and we are able to make more personal connections. In an Rotary survey recently conducted, it was rewarding to discover the fact that 75% clubs had planned their normal activities and projects which were previously beneficial to communities in Great Britain and Ireland. Our Rotary Support Center staff is proud to continue providing useful resources for the advancement of these initiatives, as well as maintaining the infrastructure which keeps the public and members protected. Insurance and compliance play crucial roles. We are aware that Rotary volunteers build lasting bonds based on their shared commitment to volunteer time. The creativity of our members and ingenuity when solving some of life's toughest problems is amazing. I am thankful for the chance Rotary gave me in 2002 with the opportunity to become an official part of the club.
